Urla is a district of Izmir Province, Turkey. The district is bordered by Güzelbahçe and Seferihisar to the east, Çeşme to the west, Karaburun and the Aegean Sea to the northwest, İzmir Gulf to the north and the Aegean Sea to the south. According to TÜİK 2020 data, its population is 69,550.

Urla contains the ruins of the ancient Ionian city of Klazomenai. The old name of Güzelbahçe (Klizman), which is still used, bears the trace of this name. This city, which was named Bryela (Woman of God - Virgin Mary) during the Byzantine period, was later called Vourla (Greek Reeds), probably with a consonant transposition. The name Urla probably originated from this name.
